Ready or not!

We are all loaded up and on our way to Wellinton! Yes! You know you have hit "crazy mode" when you are just throwing things in bags and hoping its right! I may show up with the most random stuff. :)  We are planing to overnight in GA and then get to Fl tomorrow.  This is really happing wow!

So let me just tell you guys about my clipping experience..... As of right now Leo looks like a "patchwork quilt" ( to quote my grandfather). The PLAN was to clip him Thursday, and then give him a bath Saturday so he showed up in Wellington looking his best. However he did not like that plan! Not only did I discover that he does not like being clipped. I found out that he also has a vary high tolerance to sedatives....Which means, despite our best efforts, and three days worth of trying... he did not get the nice spiffy clip!  Ya I'll give you guys some picture as soon as I can.

Until next time!

Counting down...

Three days. That’s how long I have in Ohio! Wow the time has flown! These few days before I leave are filled with packing, double-checking, and other last minute things (Leo is getting clipped today!)  In the midst of all this craziness, I want to take a moment to pause and thank all who have made this possible for me:

First, I give all the glory to God. As I look back through my life over the last year, I can see how God has been there the entire time opening doors,  Without Him, none of this would be possible.

My parents, thank you both for telling me to go for it and then being there to help me along the way!

I want to thank Lendon, for putting all this together and giving me a chance to learn more then I ever had before! I also want to thank Kim Boyer for opening up her beautiful barn to facilitate the WIT program.

I want to thank The Dressage Foundation's Renee Isler Fund, for their generosity in supporting me.

To my trainer, thank you for inspiring in me a true love and passion for dressage!

I also want to thank all the people who have supported me, there have been so may of you who have helped me, both financially, and emotionally, Thank you all, I am incredibly blessed by all of you.

Ok, im off to finish packing...there will be more to come!
